Playstation portable firmware provides this updates for all the english models such as psp-1001, psp-2001 or psp-3001. you can easily connect your psp to your pc via usb to obtain the update. all you need to do is drag the file to the game folder of your psp memory.. Since the psp e1000 can only install the firmwares (6.50 as pre-installed, no installer available) 6.60 and 6.61, and the downgrader can not downgrade to 6.60, it (the psp e1000) is currently not supported by the 6.61 downgrader..
